The following story is completely fiction. Any similarity to the actual people is just a coincidence.
Things were not going well for Alejandro and Kimberly. There relationship was going downhill fast and they knew it. The world that they knew, the world of just the two them, was not turning out the way neither of them wanted. Kimberly grew jealous of Alejandro’s new job and Alejandro was indifferent to her feelings. He explained to her time and time again that he needed this job so he could provide for their future; if they were going to have a future. The thing is, Kimberly understood, but her feelings of loneliness would not subside. Alejandro didn’t spend as much time with her as he used to. She couldn’t feel the love that he once showered her with. This new job took away the Alejandro that she fell in love with once upon a time.
The only thing they could think of was to visit the happiest place on Earth to rekindle the love they tried so hard to hold onto. It was the place they first realized their feelings for each other. Who knows, maybe being back there would remind them what made them fall for each other in the first place.
However, it didn’t seem to turn out that way. Alejandro grew tired of the crowds quickly. He couldn’t stand being there for longer than one hour. The wait time annoyed him. The prices of the food irritated him. Nothing about the place was making him happy. Kimberly tried her best to keep him happy. She offered to pay for food and suggested fast passes, but to no avail. Kimberly’s insistence only bothered Alejandro more.
At this point, Kimberly had no idea what to do. She stood behind her boyfriend of five years with her head down. She didn’t want to bother him anymore. The first time he yelled at her was embarrassing enough. Alejandro had his arms crossed and didn’t pay any attention to his sad and tired girlfriend. He didn’t offer her his shoulder and waited for time to pass until it was time to leave. It was as if, during their last chance, he had already given up half way through. …
LOL, I didn’t know how to end it. It’s not even that good. Oh well… I really should get back to my paper.
Sorry Kim (@light-fire) and Andro (@apinpin) for using your picture. xD I just saw it in Derrick’s flickr and saw a story behind it.
